The problem with recommending Buckethead albums is I'm pretty sure that regardless of what I suggest, most people won't like the CDs in their entirety. Buckethead's solo albums, for instance, aren't usually just nonstop music (unless you go for the more tranquil stuff). Often times they contain snippets of dialogue and little 'funny' stuff that can be difficult to appreciate. Some of his side projects are more of the just music things.
I'd say, trying to stick as close to Nottingham Lace:

Buckethead: 'Monsters & Robots' (dialogue in this, less than BHL 2)

I think Axiology is your best bet.

There you can download free mp3's from Travis Dickerson, a friend of Bucket's and an online seller of some of his stuff. From there, Buckethead plays on anything that says his name, Thanatopsis albums, as well as 'Population Override'. At the top of the page is something called Bucketfiles as well, which is just a number of pictures of Buckethead.
Finally, here is a song Buckethead made as a Dimebag Tribute. He had it up on his site, but the link is gone for it now, so Ill put it here. It's a nice mix of melodic parts with some heavier rhythms.
